What dental insurance plans do you accept?
- Desert Smile Dental is in-network with most major PPO insurance plans including Delta Dental, Cigna, Aetna, MetLife, and United Concordia. We also offer an in-house membership plan for patients without insurance.
How often should I schedule dental cleanings?
- Most patients benefit from professional cleanings every six months. Patients with a history of gum disease or other risk factors may be recommended for more frequent visits, typically every three to four months.
What is a CEREC same-day crown?
- CEREC technology allows us to design, mill, and place a permanent porcelain crown in a single appointment. A digital scan replaces traditional impressions, and an in-office milling machine creates the crown while you wait — typically within two hours.
Is Invisalign right for me?
- Invisalign is effective for most mild to moderate orthodontic cases including crowding, spacing, and bite issues. During your free Invisalign consultation we will take digital scans and show you a 3D preview of your projected results.
What financing options are available?
- We offer 12-month interest-free financing through CareCredit and Proceed Finance. Our in-house membership plan covers two cleanings, X-rays, and an exam annually at a flat monthly rate, with discounts on additional treatments.
How long do dental implants last?
- With proper care, dental implants can last a lifetime. The titanium implant post integrates with the jawbone permanently. The crown placed on top typically lasts 15 to 25 years before replacement may be needed due to normal wear.
